The Academy of Agrarian Sciences of China port city Yantai is interested in Iakob Gogebashvili Telavi State University Soil Chemical and Microbiological Research Laboratory.

It was found out after the university Rector visit to Spain. On February 12-14, Irma Shioshvili visited Santiago de Compostela University under the European Commission funded project.  The project goal is to promote cooperation among universities and different enterprises with the help of startup organizations. On European Commission initiative, several European and Asian countries are involved in the project that will be ended in 2019.

In the nearest future the representatives of Yantai Academy of Agrarian Sciences are going to visit  Telavi State University with the purpose of expanding mutual interrelations.
