The International Conference on Literature and English Language Teaching took place in Abu- Dhabi, United Arab Emirates on November 18-19. The conference was organized by Abu-Dhabi University and TESOL (Sudan).
Along with the specialists from the USA, Egypt, India, New Zealand, Canada, Australia and other countries, the Georgian participant of the conference was Iakob Gogebashvili Telavi State University Associate Professor of the Faculty of Educational Sciences, Tamar Mikeladze.
TeSaU professor with her colleague Khalid Al Hariri (United Arab Emirates) presented “Investigation of English Language Teachers’ Attitudes towards English as the Lingua Franca in Georgia and United Arab Emirates”. The outcomes of the given research are interesting for it reveals similarities and a number of differences among teachers’ viewpoints in both countries.
Tamar Mikeladze considers, that similar joint investigations should be proceeded as they give us interesting and rich material in the field of English Language teaching improvement in Georgia and abroad.
