Project G-PriED representatives carried out informational meeting with the academic staff involved in Primary Education Bachelor Programme implementation at Telavi State University Faculty of Educational Sciences.
Georgian Primary Education Project G-PriED is funded by USA International Development Agency (USAID), that aims to promote development of basic skills in Literacy and Mathematics among primary (I-VI) grade students. Under the project, during the last four years, innovative approaches and teaching resources were piloted in 586 Georgian public schools. Within the same project, electronic versions of all important activities, resources were made and put at online resources portal (kargiskola.ge). High standard training programmes, teaching resources and additional materials are quite easy to be accessed by everyone.
At the meeting, G-PriED representatives spoke about the project and gave TeSaU academic staff information about the perspectives and principles of using the website – kargiskola.ge.
Pedagogues represent the target group of G-PriED project activities. The project provides cooperation with the universities implementing teachers’ programmes and academic staff as well.
