Dissertation Board of Iakob Gogebashvili Telavi State University Faculty of Educational Sciences conferred Nino Antadze the Academic Degree of the Doctor of Education in Educational Sciences.

Dissertation Board reviewed Nino Antadze’s dissertation work – “Linguoculturological  Comparison of Text Types and Peculiarities of Teaching them after the Example of Student’s Cover Letter” on July 15th, 2016. (Academic supervisor: Doctor of Philosophical Sciences, Professor Ekaterine Shaverdashvili). 

The goals of the survey were: a) establishment of the discrepancies, taking place while submitting student’s cover letter, that is conditioned by the lack of Georgian students’ knowledge in writing and intercultural competencies; b) Comparison of the discrepancies with German standards on the example of  cover letters written by German students; d) determining a new text format adjusted to Georgian reality in that way.
