According to the annual report of the National Academy of Sciences, Iakob Gogebashvili Telavi State University scientific activities are evaluated in a positive manner. This information was announced by the Deputy Rector in the field of Science, Nunu Geldiashvili during 74th Scientific Conference of Professor-Teachers and PhD Students.
She also mentioned that the following activities presented by the University were approved and they would be involved in the Scientific Festival 2016, they are:
- Scientific Conference: School and University (organizer – Department of Philology);
- Scientific Popular Lecture “Studies from the History of Georgia dated by XIX-XX centuries according to the Newly Searched Archival Materials” (organizer – Department of History).
Scientific Conference participants listened to the speeches of the Academic Board member, professor Roin Tchikadze and the head of Quality Assurance Office, Shalva Tchkadua as well.
At about hundred professor-teachers and PhD students were involved in the conference. Successful participants were awarded with certificates.
