In relation with Georgian Independence Day, the National Bank of Georgia hosted educational-cognitive tour and exhibition at Kvareli Money Museum. Among the visitors were Iakob Gogebashvili Telavi State University students as well.
At the Money Museum, the visitors got the detailed information about the history of Georgian money and Lari as the national currency and one of the significant state symbols of the country. Students also familiarized with the currency of different countries presented at the museum.
The exhibition “Georgian Money”, giving chance to see the original works, was opened at the Money Museum in connection with the Independence Day. Namely, the visitors have a chance to see the coins withdrawn from and put into circulation, the special “Lari Symbol” construction made from annihilated money and adequate photo material as well.
In order to celebrate the Independence Day of Georgia, the National Bank is going to participate in another event that will be held at Rustaveli Theatre foyer on May 26 where Georgian Money will be exhibited.
