Students’ scientific conference combining 700 Georgian students took place at Akaki Tsereteli State University on May 10-11, 2016. Amongst was Maka Botkoveli – Iakob Gogebashvili Telavi State University student of the faculty of Humanities. She presented the topic – “Vanta Archeological Excavations”. Maka turned out to be amongst those 130 successful students who were awarded with the certificates.
Telavi State University student achieved success at Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University scientific conference of the Institute of Classical Philology, Byzantine and Modern Greek Studies (Faculty of Humanities) as well. The conference was held on May 13-14.
After the conference, students saw the Former City-site of Vani.
Along with other Iakob Gogebashvili Telavi State University students, Maka Botkoveli was actively involved in archeological expeditions, too, taking place in Kisiskhevi and Turdo Gorges with the purpose of studying the spiritual and secular monuments.
