On May 31 and June 1, 2023, Iakob Gogebashvili Telavi State University hosted the events planned under the project BSB831 HERIPRENEURSHIP. The tour included the visit of international tour operators, press tour, information days and meeting with interested persons. At Iakob Gogebashvili Telavi State University named, within the framework of the international project ESTA, the conference "Development of language skills in natural science teaching" was held. In the 2021-2022 academic year, teachers from different municipalities trained within the framework of the ESTA project shared their experience with the conference listeners about the natural science learning modules focused on the development of language skills introduced in the educational process. Iakob Gogebashvili Telavi State University has joined Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University in the memorandum of mutual cooperation on the establishment of the inclusive education support network and future communication within it. The parties to the memorandum are Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University, Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University, Akaki Tsereteli State University, the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia and three non-governmental organizations, the Education Development and Employment Center, "Mariani" and the Movement for an accessible environment for everyone.
The students of the 3rd year of the "integrated bachelor's and master's educational program" of the Faculty of Education Sciences of Iakob Gogebashvili Telavi State University named conducted integrated lessons based on the CLIL approach in the public school of the village of Duis in the Pankisi valley. The lessons, at the elementary level, include the integrated teaching of natural science and Georgian as a second language. The activity was carried out according to CLIL (Content and Language Integrated Learning) in Science on Primary Level, a training course developed within the framework of the international project ESTA. 2023-05-05

Monika Banach-Kokoszka, professor of WSB University of Dąbrowa Górnicza, Poland, gave a lecture about women stories at Iakob Gogebashvili Telavi State University. The Polish professor introduced various stories about women to the students of the educational program of History within four days. Monika Banach-Kokoszka discussed future plans with the supervisors of the educational program of History. A training-workshop was held at Iakob Gogebashvili Telavi State University within the Erasmus+ project. The academic and administrative staff of the university attended the meeting within the framework of the DITECH project - "Developing and Implementing Technology-Enhanced Teaching and Learning at Georgian HEIs’’. Within the framework of the Erasmus+ international project ESTA, a meeting was held at Ilia State University in Tbilisi. Iakob Gogebashvili Telavi State University Professors Nino Modebadze, Tamar Mikeladze and Natela Bagatrishvili presented the other members of the consortium the materials reflecting the activities, trainings and workshops held in TeSaU under the project. Tamar Mikeladze, professor of Iakob Gogebashvili Telavi State University Faculty of Education Sciences, will implement the winning project at Radboud University in the Kingdom of the Netherlands. The research project in the field of foreign language teaching will last for three months. Telavi State University will be involved in the international project "Responsible Conduct of Research - Research Integrity and Ethics in Georgian Universities (ETHICS)", which will start in February of the current year. The first national project funded under the Erasmus+ Institutional Development Program ERASMUS-EDU-2022-CBHE-STRAND-3 will be implemented under the coordination of Ilia State University and will contribute to raising the research culture in universities. On December 8, 2022, within the framework of the Erasmus+ institutional development project “Learning Optimization and Academic Inclusion via Equitative Distance Teaching and Learning” (LoveDistance), Iakob Gogebashvili Telavi State University hosted partners from Portugal, Spain, Israel and Romania. Telavi State University is the only Georgian partner of the Kavala Development Agency project. According to the project, five countries of the Black Sea basin will create a new tourist corridor through the monuments of cultural heritage included in the UNESCO list. Greece, Turkey, Moldova and Romania will be involved in the project through different organizations. Telavi State University is involved in the international project "HERIPRENEURSHIP", one of the main goals of which is to raise the awareness of cultural heritage and support its economic benefits. This time, the first newsletter was developed in Georgian language, which is a kind of report of the activities carried out in 2021. From July 1, 2022, the project ProGriCC - "Production of Grapes in Changing Climate" - funded by the Swedish Institute is being implemented at Telavi State University.
