Ivan Franko International Fund of Ukraine establishes the International Prize named after Ivan Franko. The purpose of the Prize is to promote activities of Ivan Franko and encourage the scientists from around the world to conduct active research in the field of social sciences and Ukrainian Studies. 
The Prize will be awarded to the researchers, research papers of whom will be submitted to the Prize Committee and will be recognized as the best ones according to the International Jury. The Prize includes the following nominations: 1 – for significant contribution to the development of Ukrainian Studies; 2 – for outstanding personal contribution to the development of social and human sciences.
The First Prize will be awarded on August 27, 2016 at 160th anniversary of birth of Ivan Franko.
