Iakob Gogebashvili Telavi State University Chancellery (Registry Office) represents the supporting structural unit.   
Chancellery (Registry Office) carries out its activities according to the Georgian Law About Higher Education, regulation on the “Unified Rule of Case Management” approved by the order of the President of Georgia issued on July 1, 1999, University Statute and the Office regulation.
Within its competence, Chancellery (Registry Office) is accountable to the University Rector and the Head of Administration. It performs the duties provided by the law, imposed by the Rector and the Head of Administration.

The main field of the Chancellery (Registry Office) activities is to organize unified case management, elaborate, supervise, coordinate, and control normative documents on case management affairs of the University.
