Workshops under the project -  “Curriculum Innovation for Social Inclusion – CISI”  implemented with the support of  “Erasmus+” – were held at Iakob Gogebashvili Telavi State University on August 25-27.

USAID Primary Education Program Supervisor Nancy Parks, Grants Manager Nikoloz Chachkhiani and University Collaborations Coordinator Ana Abuladze visited Iakob Gogebashvili Telavi State University on August 31.

Presentation of the projects being implemented at TeSaU in the field of tourism was held at Iakob Gogebashvili Telavi State University.

On June 9, 2020, within the framework of the “INTEGRITY” project, an online meeting “Plagiarism and its Negative Impact” was conducted for Telavi State University students of the Teacher Training Educational Program.

Online meetings were arranged under the project VITAGLOBAL on June 22-23, 2020. On the first day of the meeting, participants discussed the situation around 6 modules worked out within the frames of the abovementioned project.

The next online meetings were carried out within the framework of the EC co-funded project VITAGLOBAL on April 7 and 20, 2020. The first meeting covered the problems and challenges arose while working on the microbiology module.

Online meeting within the framework of the EC co-funded project LOVEDISTANCE (Learning Optimization and Academic Inclusion Via Equitative Distance Teaching and Learning) was carried out on April 27th, 2020

Within the framework of the EC funded project VITAGLOBAL an online meeting was carried out on March 23rd, 2020.

Within the framework of the INTEGRITY project, distance trainings were conducted at Iakob Gogebashvili Telavi State University on April 1st.  The remote trainings were intended for TeSaU academic staff and undergraduate students as well. The subject of the trainings was: using  TURNITIN in preparing Bachelor/Master Theses.

The next meeting within the framework of EC funded project -598507-EPP-1-2018-1-ES-EPPKA2-CBHE-JP -  “A Global Network for Agricultural Sciences and Viniviticulture: Internationalising through Joint Programmes” – was held on February 25-29 at Stellenbosch University, South Africa.

Within the framework of “Erasmus+ “  international project  -  “Curriculum Innovation  for Social Inclusion” (CISI) – an informational meeting was held at Iakob Gogebashvili Telavi State University on March 6^th.

 Within the framework of “INTEGRITY” program, an informational meeting was held for the students of the vocational college “Prestige” on February 21st.

Within the framework of Erasmus+ international project Iakob Gogebashvili Telavi State University staff of the faculty of Education Sciences - Professor Nino Modebadze, Associate Professor Tamar Mikeladze and Invited Doctor Natela Bagatrishvili visited Ludwigsburg University of Education (Germany) on February 16-19 of the current year.

The first meeting under the project “Role of Universities in the Regional Development”, funded by the European Commission, was held at Akaki Tsereteli Kutaisi State University on December 9-10, 2019.

Akaki Tsereteli Kutaisi State University became the coordinator of EC funded Erasmus+ institutional development (CBHE) project “Role of Universities in the Regional Development” in 2019.

Under the “INTEGRITY” program, informational meeting was held for local public school pedagogues at Iakob Gogebashvili Telavi State University on February 21st.

Iakob Gogebashvili Telavi State University representatives are conducting informational meetings about plagiarism.

Iakob Gogebashvili Telavi State University representatives met with the students of Pankisi Gorge Public schools on February 19th and spoke about plagiarism.

Meeting of grantee organizations was held in Brussels on January 27-28.

The representative of German International Institute of Hospitality in Georgia, Nutsa Tsigroshvili, conducted an informational meeting at Iakob Gogebashvili Telavi State University on February 18th.

Within the framework of the project - “CISI Curriculum Innovation for Social Inclusion” - informational meetings are being proceeded at Iakob Gogebashvili Telavi State University.

Within the framework of the project -  “CISI Curriculum Innovation  for Social Inclusion” -  an informational meeting was held at Iakob Gogebashvili Telavi State University.  

The third consortium meeting of Erasmus+ institutional development project – “Academic Integrity for Quality Teaching and Learning in Higher Education Institutions in Georgia (INTEGRITY)” – was held at Shota Rustaveli Batumi State University on January 21-22. The meeting was attended by the project members from Telavi State University as well.   

Iakob Gogebashvili Telavi State University professors and teachers participated in ERASMUS+ CBHE consortium meeting on October 31st and November 1st. The meeting was held at Samtskhe-Javakheti State University within the framework of the project - “Academic Integrity for Quality Teaching and Learning in Higher Education Institutions in Georgia (INTEGRITY)”.

Iakob Gogebashvili Telavi State University is involved in another new international “Erasmus+” project - ,,Learning Optimization and Academic Inclusion Via Equitative Distance Teaching and Learning-(LOVEDISTANCE)’’.

Informational Meeting within the framework of EU funded project – Vita Global – took place at Iakob Gogebashvili Telavi State University on December 5th.

Telavi State University Associate Professors Shalva Tchkadua and Tamar Mikeladze attended the trainings at Leuven University (Belgium) on October 15-17, 2019. The trainings were organized within the framework of Erasmus+ CBHE Programme grants project  - “PRINTEL” -585760-EPP-1-2017-1-AM-EPPKA2-CBHE-JP – “Change in Classroom: Promoting Innovative Teaching & Learning to Enhance Student Learning Experience in Eastern Partnership Countries”.

The third consortium meeting of the EC (European Commission) co-funded project ,,VitaGLOBAL" was held at the Universities of Chile and Talca (Chile, Santiago) from October 8-11.

Informational meeting was held at Iakob Gogebashvili Telavi State University on October 24^th.  The meeting concerned “Erasmus+” exchange programme.

 “Erasmus+” National Office representatives – Tata Lortkipanidze and Nino Urushadze - made a presentation at Iakob Gogebashvili Telavi State University on October 24^th. The presentation was about “Erasmus+” joint master programmes (Degree Mobility).

Within the framework of “Pop-Up-Embassy” project  – “UK/Georgia2019” British Ambassador to Georgia Justin McKenzie Smith met with Iakob Gogebashvili Telavi State University students.

Frankfurt Integrative School Professor Lutz Kunze visited Iakob Gogebashvili Telavi State University together with his German colleagues on October 2.

Within the frames of ERASMUS+ exchange program, representatives of the Polytechnic of Požega (Croatia) – Silvija Pirc-Baltić, Ana Mrgan, Stanko Zrinščak, Tomislav Soldo - have been to Iakob Gogebashvili Telavi State University on a working visit.

On 16-17 of May in 2019 the international conference “Innovative teaching and learning in Higher Education Institutions” took place in Yerevan State University (YSU) in the frame of ERASMUS+ PRINTeL project “Change in Classroom: Promoting Innovative Teaching & Learning to Enhance Student Learning Experience in Eastern Partnership Countries” organized by the project coordinator Yerevan State University.

In the framework of Erasmus+ programme, Iakob Gogebashvili Telavi State University will be involved in several more projects funded by European Commission. EU grants programme will finance six projects in Georgia and Telavi State University will be involved in four of them.

European National Offices of the International Project – “Erasmus+” identified the winner projects.

Within the framework of Erasmus+ Exchange Program Iakob Gogebashvili Telavi State University hosted the delegates from Paul Bocuse Institute in Lyon (France).

The coordinator of Erasmus+ PRINTeL project, Yerevan State University Vice-Rector - Mr. Armen Budaghyan and the project co-coordinator - Miss. Mary Santurjan paid a working (monitoring) visit to Iakob Gogebashvili Telavi State University on June 29th.

On June 16th, the representatives from different higher educational institutions of Ukraine visited Iakob Gogebashvili Telavi State University.

New partnership relations have been established between Iakob Gogebashvili Telavi State University and Polytechnic University of Milan. The parties planned future exchange programmes and joint researches during the visit to Italy paid by TeSaU Rector Irma Shioshvili, Head of International Relations Office Tamar Aslanishvili and other administrative staff.

On May 21^st, within the framework of the INTEGRITY Project, TeSaU Professor Lali Dzamukashvili conducted training for students at Iakob Gogebashvili Telavi State University.

Within the framework of the project VITAGLOBAL, co-funded by the European Commission, the second meeting was held at the University of Porto, Portugal on May 1-4. The meeting was attended by Iakob Gogebashvili Telavi State University Head of International Relations Office, Tamar Aslanishvili and Dean of the Faculty of Agrarian Sciences, Manana Kevlishvili.

At the end of July, the best Georgian students will take a trip to Chateauneuf town, France. Selection process of students has already started. In order to participate in the selection process, twenty students from Iakob Gogebashvili Telavi State University Faculty of Agrarian Sciences are already taking free courses in French language. Four students, selected according to the contest, will be familiarized with French wine making standards, French Organic Farming and French culture within two weeks.

Representatives of  “The International Institute of Hospitality” carried out informational meeting at Iakob Gogebashvili Telavi State University on March 6^th. They gave students detailed information regarding different international projects.
