II International Scientific Conference: „Education, Research, Practice“ Faculty of Educational Sciences is holding II International Scientific Conference: „Education, Research, Practice“ on September 28-29, 2018. Professors, teachers and doctorate students from Georgian and International higher educational institutions as well as representatives of scientific-research institutions can participate in the conference. Conference Proceedings will be published and given to the participants during the conference. The Conference topics are: 1. Modern Technologies in upbringing and teaching children and the youth: Georgian and the World experience 2. Innovations in Higher education: Strategies and technologies 3. Theoretical and practical bases of Innovative Processes in the Professional field: Practice and Perspectives 4. Information technologies in Education 5. Subject Teaching Methodology 6. Educational and Developmental Psychology 7. Educational philosophy 8. Educational Management 9. Physical education and sports. The Conference provides plenary and sectional sessions. The working languages for the conference are Georgian, English, and Russian. Presentation will be 10-15 minutes, discussion-3-5 minutes. Virtual participation is also available at the conference. Key Dates We kindly ask you to send the conference papers designed according to the requirements (appendix №1) and application form (appendix №2) to the followig e-mails: telavi.edu.konference@gmail.com. The deadline for the paper submission is extended to June 30, 2018. -By July 6 the organizing committee will notify participants by e-mails regarding the acceptance of the papers. -Until July 12 the participants must pay the registration fee to the enclosed bank account (appendix №3). Each participant pays organizational fee GEL 80 (participants from abroad $40). The chairman of the organizing committee is Telavi State University Rector, Professor Irma Shioshvili, co-chairpersons: Nunu Geldiashvili – Professor, Vice Rector for Science and Manana Garibashvili – Professor, Head of the Representative Board of TeSaU. The conference was opened by the Vice Rector, Nunu Geldiashvili. Participants were greeted by the university Rector – Irma Shioshvili, Kakheti Governor – Irakli Kadagishvili, Deputy Head of the Department of Higher Education and Science Development, Head of the Students’ Social Support Unit – Valerian Gobronidze. They spoke about the international conference tasks and importance. Later, conference workshops, proceeded into sections according to the fields. CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION
Full-time Participation The organization fee for participation in the conference is 120 Euro (paid to the Prague Institute for Qualification Enhancement). Remote participation The organization fee for participation in the conference is 100 Euro (paid to the Prague Institute for Qualification Enhancement). Conference participants have also an opportunity to make an internship training program "Organization of the educational process, scientific projects and publication activities at the universities of the European Union" in Prague Institute for Qualification Enhancement from 20 to 30 November 2017.

International Conference – “Archival Studies, Source Studies – Trends and Challenges” The National Archives of Georgia serve the political, economic, scientific and cultural interests of the country. The main objective of the archives, in addition to the preservation of the rich archival collection and ease of access to such documentation, is to study the collections and create a solid scientific base. The National Archives actively responded to the challenges of the modern era as shown by the innovations implemented in this institution during the last years. These innovations include the beginnings of a rather complicated process for moving the archives into a system, completing the data base by a new method, and also enable the increase of scientific potential. On October 25-27, 2017, for the second time, the National Archives of Georgia is planning to host the International Conference on “Archival Studies, Source Studies – Trends and Challenges”.
