IAKOB GOGEBASHVILI TELAVI
STATE UNIVERSITY

Representatives of Telavi State University Faculty of Humanities visited Kharitonashvilebi’s large family in Telavi on New Year’s Eve. Except books, clothes, toys and sweets, they were given felt works and even the material for making them. Head of Felt Professional Program Nugzar Dzamukashvili proposed the family to teach their children felt-making without any charge in case of revealing interest towards the program.
Nodar Kharitonashvili: “Thank you for appraisal. Such great attention and cordiality from your side gives my family the hope for future. Happy New Year, I wish all poor families to be as happy as we are now”.
Nino Kotchloshvili, Dean of Tesau Faculty of Humanities: “There exist social package at our faculty, which serves for helping poor students and academic staff only once. Now the Faculty aimed to come true the New Year dreams of the children from the large family. We introduced Kharitonashvilebi’s family, familiarized with the wishes of their children and, I suppose we gave them great happiness today”.
Nelly Tskitishvili, Head of Tesau Public Relation Office: “The charitable activities of the Faculty of Humanities and its departments are worth of appraisal and I regard this one the most valuable, as the action was dedicated to seven lovely children’s happiness and realization of their dreams. By doing charities a person, first of all, helps himself, that’s why my colleagues – Nino Kotchloshvili, Nino Giorgadze, Nunu Geldiashvili, Nugzar Dzamukashvili have lights in their eyes. Charity and kindness is contagious and I think, other faculties will soon imitate them”.
Within the framework of social package, the Faculty of Humanities has already given a help to five students for once and this charity is planned to be continued in future, too.
